How to configure the roles & permissions of the business employees
The business can limit the employees' permissions. The business can choose to give them access to some sections of the business portal depending on the role
** Note that the roles & permissions are only available in the Ultimate package.
Configure the Role & the permissions
Follow the step below to create roles and choose the permissions for the business employees:
- Go to the Advanced section in the business portal.
- Go to the Roles.
- Click on Create Role.
- Enter the Roles Name and description.
- Choose the permissions for this role.
There are 4 permissions to choose from for each of Kangaroo's features and modules
- View
- Create
- Update
- Delete - Enable the rules by clicking on the small boxes.
- Click on Create.
Assign the Role to an employee:
Once the role is created, the business needs to assign it to an employee previously created in the business portal
Here is to create employees and/or Admins
- Click on Assign Role
- Choose one or more from the list of admins (only portal users can be assigned a role) and click on Assign Role.
- The business can also assign a role when creating an employee from the branches section.
Now that the role has been assigned, the business employees can log in with their credentials.
Note, the business can keep track of the employees' activities from the audit logs
