How does the Information flow on Shopify Ecom and POS?
When using integrations it's important to understand the flow of things and how information/customer data travels from one system to another.
- For Ecom, the sale will flow to the Kangaroo Rewards database once payment is captured and of course, the customer finalized the transaction through the widget while logged into their account
** Kindly note that the native registration of the website and the Widget's registration are connected. This means that when a customer registers on the website, their profile information will be pushed to Kangaroo
- For POS, the customer must be attached to the sale every time a sale happens. This way, the system knows whom to reward and will do so automatically once the sale is finished
** Customer information does not flow from Kangaroo to Shopify POS or Ecom.
The information does however travel from Shopify Ecom to Shopify POS
