LightSpeed ECOM -How can I cancel a coupon?

After applying a coupon to an offer or redeeming a reward, there are two ways customers can cancel a coupon before completing the transaction.

Method 1

  • The customer goes to the cart and under the items added to the cart on the right side of the screen
  • Customer finds the coupon code they want to cancel and Cancel coupon.  

Method 2
  • Customer clicks on Widget.
  • Customer clicks the History section in the Widget.
  • Under Actions, the customer clicks Cancel Coupon.

Uncancelled coupons left in a cart expire automatically. In the case of point deductions (e.g. redeeming a reward from your redemption catalog), the deducted points will be returned to the customer's points balance.

The number of days it takes for a redemption coupon to expire can be adjusted. 

  1. Log into your Kangaroo business portal.
  2. Clicks Integration.
  3. Click on Update your settings.
  4. Enter the number of days into The redemption coupon code will be expired after how many days?
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
