How to set up Kangaroo on a tablet to give customers points

  • Tablet to Tablet: Two tablets talking to each other. One tablet faces the customer and the other is facing an employee. When a customer logs in on their customer-facing tablet using their phone number or email address, the employee tablet will allow your employee to add the purchase amount and click the checkmark on the bottom right once the transaction is completed. The points will be automatically rewarded. Note: This option will require you to have the Kangaroo Rewards App downloaded and open on both tablets.
  • The swivel (1 tablet): A customer logs in with their phone number or email address and the employee takes the tablet to add points. Add the purchase amount and click the checkmark at the bottom right to finish the transaction. Turn the tablet back around to the customer to show them their rewards! Note: This option will require you to have the Kangaroo Rewards App downloaded and open on the tablet.
  • Tablet to point of sale (POS) component (if applicable): A tablet that is connected to a downloaded component at the point of sale. A customer logs in with their phone number or email address on the customer-facing tablet. Once they have logged in, on your point of sale, a component will open up and you can add the purchase amount, and click the checkmark to finish the transaction. Note: This option will require you to have the Kangaroo Rewards App downloaded and open on the tablet. This option also requires the downloaded component.
