How to retarget customers from a previous campaign

A retargeting filter enables precise targeting of clients from previous email campaigns, it allows you to deliver personalized follow-up messages or ads, increasing the likelihood of engagement.


  • Go to Kangaroo Rewards Business Portal.
  • Click on Marketing.
  • Click on Create Campaign.
  • Select your Delivery Method and click on Next.
  • Choose the Targeted Customers filter and click on Next.
  • Choose Purchases Filter.
  • Choose Redemption Based Re-targeting.
  • Choose the Campaign you wish to Re-target.
  • Choose to target clients who have or have not redeemed the redemption or offer of the chosen campaign.
  • Select desired offers/redemptions tied to campaign and the amount days after the campaign is sent.
  • Choose the Branch of which the redemption or offer took place and click on Next.
  • Add an offer or Continue without offers, and select an offer or reward from the list. Click on the Next button.
  • Enter the Subject of the campaign. For an announcement, fill out the email section. If an offer is selected, the email section is imputed with the offer. Click the Next button.
  • Customize the text email by clicking on the email variables below and then clicking Send Test Email/SMS button. Then click on the Next button.
  • Click Send Now to send the campaign out within the hour or schedule this campaign by checking the Schedule campaign date/time and selecting the date and time to send the campaign.
  • Once the campaign is sent, a success message will pop up.

P.S: Automated campaigns cannot be selected using this filter.
