How to reset the employee pin for Lightspeed Retail

The employee pin allows the business to give limited control on the Lightspeed Retail screen to their employees. The employee pin is mandatory for each change or adjustment in the user profile

  • Go to the Kangaroo business portal.
  • Go to Settings.


  • Click on Business Profile.
  • Scroll down to Branches and press on the eye button near the branch name.
  • Select from the list the employee you want to reset the pin for and press the eye button.
  • Insert the new pin for the employee to use in the Enter Employee ID field.
  • Go to the Lightspeed Retail screen and use this pin after clicking on customer profile so change or adjustments can be made to the user profile.
  • Click on Save to save the changes made.
