How to Enable the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is used in addition to a password to verify the account as an admin login.

The MFA can be enabled for tablet users and business admins/Portal users. When trying to login into the business portal, there’s an additional step to verify the user which is two-factor authentication. A verification code will be sent to the user’s email.

** MFA is a feature that needs to be enabled by the support team. Please reach out to support@kangaroorewards.com or the live chat to ask a support agent to enable it for your account.

Please follow the below steps:

  • Go to the Kangaroo Business portal.
  • Go to the Rules section.
  • Scroll down the page to the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Settings and enable the below rule.

  • A verification code will be sent to the employee's or business admin's email.
  • Fill in the verification code or click on Resend Verification code to receive the verification code email again and click Continue.

N.B: If you want to disable the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) go back to the rules section again and turn it off. You will be able to log in to the business admin without any verification code.
