How to customize the business referral message

Learn how the business can add a personal touch to the referral messages!

  • Go to the business portal, and click on Referrals.
  • Click on Customize.

  • Scroll down and click Next in the bottom right of the page and it will redirect you to the Referred message page.

  • Under the email subject, a selection of variables can be used to customize the referral message for email or SMS. (click on the variable and it will be applied directly in the text).


  • Click Preview to see the created message of the content.
  • Moving forward to the following section, click Next in the bottom right of the page and it will redirect you to the Referrer message page.


  • Under the email subject, a selection of variables can be used to customize the referral message for email or SMS. (click on the variable and it will be applied directly in the text).
  • Don't forget the option to preview the email or SMS content like in the previous step.
  • Moving forward to the following section, click Next in the bottom right of the page and it will redirect you to the Claimed message page.
  • Under the email subject, a selection of variables can be used to customize the referral message for email or SMS. (click on the variable and it will be applied directly in the text).

  • Click Save to finalize.

Note: When the referral is linked based only the referrer will receive the message.
