How to cancel a coupon in BigCommerce

After applying a coupon to an offer or redeeming a reward, there are two ways customers can cancel a coupon before completing the transaction.

Method 1:

  • Go to the cart and under the items added to the cart on the right side of the screen click on Cancel Coupon.
Method 2
  • Click on the Widget and go to the History section.
  • Under Actions click on the Cancel Coupon button.
  • Uncanceled coupons left in a cart expire automatically. In the case of point deductions (e.g. redeeming a reward from your redemption catalog), the deducted points will be returned to the customer's points balance.

 

The number of days it takes for a redemption coupon to expire can be adjusted. 
    • Go to the Kangaroo Business Portal. 
    • Go to Settings. 
    • Go to the Apps & Integrations. 
    Go to BigCommerce and click on Configure.

  • Look for coupons expire after rule.
  • Click Save to finalize.
