Redemption rules.
The Redemption section is where you can create/modify your Redemption Catalogue (what customers get to spend their points on). In addition, a few rules that the business can benefit from to handle their redemption process.
Kangaroo Rewards loyalty program gives clients many ways to redeem their points.
The business can choose to have a structured redemption catalog or allow the pay with points feature. Some rules and configurations can be set by the business from the rules section in the kangaroo business portal.
- Pay with your points requires a minimum purchase amount
Customers can use the pay-with-point feature if only they make a purchase higher than the amount set by the business. For example, customers can pay with their points if the sale is higher than $50.00.
- Minimum redemption allowed is set to: the business sets a minimum number of points required to be able to use the pay with points feature.
For example, you can use that feature if you have a minimum of 100 points.

The business can specify a percentage (%) of the amount of transaction that can be paid by redeeming points. The client will have to actually pay for the remaining percentage of the transaction. For example, only the equivalent of 50% of the sale can be paid with points
- Allow customers to redeem their points without using their Pin Code
If this rule is disabled, then customers will be required to enter their pin in order to redeem points.
Those redemptions rules create a level of security for both the business and the customers, this way, none of the 2 parties will be able to take advantage of the system.
