Ecommerce rules.
Once your e-commerce website is successfully integrated and linked to Kangaroo, you can manage your Loyalty program from your Business portal There are a few rules directly and specifically related to your website.
In the integration section of your business portal in “update settings,” you can have access to all those rules:
- Start by choosing a name for your Loyalty program: This name will appear on the widget.
- Make sure to choose if you would like to allow the “pay with points” feature on your website.
Enabling this feature will allow your customers to redeem a certain amount of points and get a certain amount off their next purchase.
The business can choose to add some limitations to this feature such as a minimum and maximum redemption. - Choose the Signup bonus you want to give your customer upon registration, this will encourage them to start earning points with your business.
- “The redemption coupon code will be expired after X days”: this rule means that when a customer makes a redemption, their points will be deducted from their point balance. If for some reason, the customer does not use the code that was generated for that redemption in the X amount of days, the code will expire, the points will go back to the customer’s balance and they can generate another code when they are ready.
- Choose if you would like the shipping to be free, discounted, or not when a promo code is applied. This rule allows the business to change the configuration for the free shipping rule.
- Choose a prefix for the coupon code. You can make your reporting easier by adding a prefix to the coupon codes generated by Kangaroo.
The business can choose this feature as well for branding purposed. - Customize your widget colors and wording as you please.
- You can enable your widget to pop up on your website 10 seconds after it loads. This will only happen once. It will remind customers about the loyalty program.
Other aspects of the loyalty program can be configured on the Business Portal as well.
