How to set up a custom email sender.

Send emails from a custom email sender by using Kangaroo. Once configured, all emails going out from Kangaroo will be sent from the email sender.

  • This feature is not available for all packages. To enable this rule, contact the account manager.
  • Choose the email sender. An email sender can be any email with a domain. (i.e info@domain.com, hello@example.com, support@businessname.com).
  • Go to the Settings and under the Engagement and Marketing add the email in the Custom Marketing Sender Email field.
  • Click on Save to save the changes made.
  • Contact a support agent to tell them about the change of the email sender. The agent will send DNS records that need to be added to the domain to authenticate it.
    This will avoid emails sent to go to Spam and Junk.
  • Once added, please let the support agent know so they can make sure that the records were added correctly.
    Customers will receive emails from the customer email sender.
