How to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code at login.

- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra step to verify admin logins in addition to the password.
- MFA can be enabled for tablet users and business admins (portal users).
- When logging into the business portal, a verification code will be sent to the user’s email.

Important:

Steps to enable MFA:

  • Go to the Kangaroo Business Portal
  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Access & Security
  • Navigate to the Security & Fraud Prevention section
  • Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Click Save

Login process with MFA:

  • A verification code will be sent to the employee’s or admin’s email
  • Enter the verification code
  • Click Resend Verification Code if needed
  • Click Continue to complete login
  • To disable MFA, go back to Settings → Access & Security → Security & Fraud Prevention and turn it off
  • Once disabled, users can log in without a verification code
